Actually, Neko, I appreciate the explanation of the Martindale-Gray final. The most recent cleaning of the boards got rid of UGSHS 11 and previous installments, along with All ToL's prior to 13 and the first Masters.
As for Roy, well, I've got a theory about him, but it might be a bit controversial.

You should have seen it. Martindale had like a 3 ~ 1 lead at the end of the first day of voting. The votes split down the middle. Every day it was the same, next thing I knew at the end of five days, the margin was 23 ~ 21. I voted for George, Roy boy voted for George, Mandy voted for George and then the final votes came in for Martindale. That was by far the oddest final two I had ever seen. It literally went down to the wire and had Shelly been on 10 minutes later, George would have pulled off the upset. The lead constantly went back and forth like a pendulum and neither host had more than a 2 vote lead at any point in the game.
What's your theory?

That was the ugliest final two I have ever seen. And I wasn't even a part of the first few. Do you even remember which game I started voting in? Who won that game? Obviously, the end result and just about every other part of the game I debuted in is gone. Down the toilet.

You've been around a lot longer than you think, at least on my game. I remember you chewing out Roy Boy on multiple occasions. I think you started in UGSHS 3 or 4.

My theory is that Roy Boy was just a smart-aleck teenager. Think about it. He loved Degrassi, was a big fan of the Nick hosts from the early 90's, it adds up.
And frankly, out of the ones I've read, the craziest final 2 was the one in ToL 13, Carr vs. Roberto. I just checked it out to make sure I had my facts straight, and I swear, one person literally changed the entire outcome of the game!

I always used to think that the Masters tournament was the most chaotic, but I've realized it's not really that way, just somewhat unorthodox when it comes to the hosts we induct. I wouldn't be surprised if Megan Johnson eventually won the Masters. However, the ToL is it's own entity and is often devoid of any rational explanation when the games are run there, and the ToL games are often very chaotic. I'll give you some examples:
Combined in the main game, the Masters tournament and the ToOH, we have had a combined total of ONE shutout. But in the ToL, we have had six!
Three games in the ToL have been decided by two votes or less. There seems to be much less of an accord as to who should or should not be thrown into the Hall of Shame. I can tell you right now that for every host currently in the ToL, there's probably at least one boardie that thinks they should go, and in most cases, there will be one or two that do not think he or she should go.
The other thing is, of course, that I don't put vote restrictions on the ToL. The main reason for this was initially because I didn't want it to be like the main game at all. I kept it that way because it contributes to the chaotic nature of the game. We literally never know what's going to happen.

Because I sure as heck don't remember being around at that point in time. I remember the start of the Tournament of Losers. When did that start up?

Wow. I've been a part of this dysfunctional family for so long? Jeez, it doesn't seem like it's really been nearly two years or so. My, how time seems to go quick when you're having fun!

I'll tell you right now. The thing that makes UGSHS fun, all the series over the years are the people that vote and do the skits. I always considered UGSHS a parody. As long as people love the series, I'll keep going with it.
When I started UGSHS, I seriously thought I was going to do one installment and that was going to be it. I never expected it to take off like this into what it has become, almost a staple at GSN.com. It wasn't until UGSHS 4 that I even realized this was going to become a series.
The same thing was true with the ToL. I didn't expect it to take off into a series. By the time I created the Million Dollar Masters, I knew that was going to be a series. I loved what Jeopardy! did with that and I was floored that they didn't do another one.
Actually, the Masters series was done because there were multiple hosts (like George Gray) who I felt were being cheated out of Hall of Fame spots, so I thought "Hey, can't we do ones for hosts that don't get the respect they deserve?", and besides that, the immunity list from the ToL was getting REALLY long, so that became the list for the Masters.

Let me tell you something: When I first decided to join in on the action, I didn't know that the games you created were going to become extremely popular. I don't know how many total votes came flooding over to the boards, but with all of the different titles, spinoffs, and other awesome goodies, I can safely say that the next person to try their hand at this will have his or her work cut out for themselves. This game is one of the better run games I've ever seen before at the boards. It's run by a person who's on every day, sets a timeline for things to get done, and will ask for someone to take over if the case arises. I know of a couple other people who set starting dates. This is a neverending occurance. When one game ends, the next game starts up right away or it starts up within a couple of minutes, depending on what series we're dealing with. The skits are great, and the voters are wonderful (well, even if we all don't agree on certain things). This game will never die. I'm sure that the next group of newbie posters comes on, they'll uphold this tradition. Hell... In the future, we might even see that the game has run out of hosts!

^No way that would happen. New game shows are being aired quite often, so those game shows would have hosts which could be added.

It might. You'll never know. One of these days, when the post whores are gone (and to tell the truth, there are some of those characters there on the GSN boards to begin with), there might be an end to the game. It might be when we're all dead. Hopefully the game continues that far into life.

Only time will tell, I suppose.
And a correction: There was a final crazier than the one in ToL 13. The final 2 in the fourth Masters was absolutely insane! You should reread it, it was incredible.

Sometimes we get some wicked final twos. Whenever there isn't an accord for the final two, it's an interesting showdown.
