what is your favorite MMORPG? (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game? (Ie: world of worldcraft, guild wars, Ecoquest, Aventure quest, etc) I play at runescape (link here: www.runescape.com). It's free to play (unless you suscribe, its $5/month fees) and its a 3-D Java game made by JAGeX (Java Gaming Experts) in the UK. Fighting monsters, earning gold, and doing quests. Basically all the game is about. It never ends! it's updated weekly!

I'm not into those all that much. I mean, I've tried it before with Kingdom of Loathing. But that kind of got old after a while and I just gave up...

I heard all the problems with Everquest so I avoid those like the plague.

I played WoW for a while, but it's kind of boring to me to play MMORPGs because skill at the game is determined by how little life you have instead of how good you are. Mandoli could probably tell you what I prefer to do with my internet if she recognizes my email

E-mails and usernames. I should at least mention that the only roleplaying business I've shuffled myself into these days involve Harry Potter. I'm officially on my 14th month and going strong. I've never seen a more dedicated group of individuals than the ones from the site. Nearing the three year anniversary there. I'm proud to have been a part of the community for over a year.

Yeah, that's right, all you fifth-years have been there a year now too. I'm guessing you joined early in term 7, right? Did you ever meet Ginger Cain? Pfft, to stay on topic...No, I haven't heard of that PC game, but from my experience, if it's one I haven't heard of and somebody says it's good, it usually is. Anyone else have issues with playing games designed to be "the best game of this sort?" Blizzard games (Warcraft III, Starcraft, Diablo II, WoW) are frankly horrible in terms of the believeability of their worlds. The Ubi Soft/Red Orb strategy games are a lot better, like Warlords and Warlords Battlecry. (Warlords III: Darklords Rising was my favorite computer game of all time. And guess what: it's so old that it doesn't even work on normally-configured Windows XP.)

If I remember, I joined in the latter part of the sixth term. I believe I do remember a person of that name. (Was she a Huffie?)
Getting back on topic, though... I've never played any of that stuff. Never gotten a hold of it, and just never gotten a chance to experience it.
