This is an easy recipe.
Ingredients:
1 cup powdered sugar 1 cup ground almonds (not sliced) 90 g (about 3.25 ounces) bittersweet chocolate, grated 1½ tsp. Vanilla Extract ½ cup dark rum ½ cup chocolate sprinkles
Take the powdered sugar, ground almonds and bittersweet chocolate and whisk it together.
Stir in the vanilla extract and ¼ cup of the rum and mix it all together with a spatula in a huge bowl to make a paste. Once the paste is made, put it in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
Put the other ¼ cup of the rum into a bowl, and the sprinkles on a plate. Take your mix, roll them into balls, and roll them into the rum and in the sprinkles, then put them on a tray.
You can make 36 small rum balls with this recipe, but if you want them to be bigger, that's fine too. Let the rum balls dry on the tray for 1 hour and then refrigerate them until they are firm.
